How to Enroll
Itβs easy to enroll in benefits in the Ulta Beauty benefits enrollment portal, powered by bswift. You can also enroll on the bswift app! There are three opportunities for you to enroll or change benefits: New Hire or Rehire, Annual Enrollment, or Qualifying Life Event. Check out the steps below.

New Hire
Welcome to Ulta Beauty!
Explore your benefit options here
Gather your information (beneficiaries, SSNs, marriage certificates, birth certificates, etc.)
Enroll in benefits

Username: Associate ID
Password: Last 4 digits of SSN
If you need Associate ID or password assistance please submit a request through the People Success Portal or email AssociateCareandSupport@ulta.com.
4. Confirm Enrollment
π Print or save your Benefits Confirmation Statement for your records.
π Medical and dental ID cards will be mailed within 14 days, if enrolled.
π Vision coverage does not require an ID card.

Rehire
Welcome back to Ulta Beauty!
If you were rehired within 30 days of your separation, all of your prior health benefits will be reinstated.
You will not have a new window to enroll in benefits. You may log in to the bswift benefits enrollment portal to review the benefits you are enrolled in and update beneficiaries, if applicable. Paid time off and tenure is NOT bridged, it restarts using your rehire date.
If you were rehired after more than 30 days, you are considered a New Hire. Please see the new hire drop down above for further instructions. *If you were rehired within 91 days and are still in your ACA stability period, all of your prior health benefits will be reinstated.

Qualifying Life Event
A Qualifying Life Event (QLE) is a change in your personal circumstances that allows you to update your benefits outside of your new hire enrollment period or Annual Enrollment. Common examples include:
Marriage or domestic partnership
Divorce or legal separation
Birth, adoption, or guardianship of a child
Death of a dependent
Gaining or losing other health coverage
Important Rules
You must submit your QLE within 30 days of the event.
Any benefit changes must be directly related to the life event. For example, if you experience a divorce, you may remove your ex-spouse from coverage, but you may not add a child unless you have a separate qualifying event that allows that change.
Supporting documentation is required before your QLE can be approved. Documentation can be uploaded after submitting the QLE within bswift.

Annual Enrollment
Annual Enrollment is a designated period of time that allows associates to enroll or make changes to their benefits outside of their new hire window and without a Qualifying Life Event. At Ulta Beauty, Annual Enrollment runs each summer for benefits effective September 1st through August 31st.
